Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the SFINDEX platform (sfindex.ch) and the creation and publication of company listings in the online company and industry directory. They apply exclusively to business customers (B2B). By registering or concluding a listing agreement, the company fully accepts these Terms.

2. Services – Company Listings

SFINDEX operates a digital company directory for publishing company profiles.

Depending on the selected package, listings may include:

SFINDEX may further develop the content, structure, and presentation of listings provided that the agreed benefits for the company are maintained.

3. User Obligations

All users undertake to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information

• Not use the platform for illegal, misleading, or harmful purposes

• Not impersonate identities or affiliations

• Not upload malware or perform unauthorized data scraping

Listed companies further ensure that:

• All information in the company profile is truthful, lawful, and up to date

• Content does not infringe third-party rights (texts, images, trademarks, etc.)

• They are authorized to publish the company profile

SFINDEX is not liable for incorrect information provided by customers.

4. Premium Listings – Ranking & Visibility

Premium listings receive:

• Preferential placement in categories, search results, and lists

• SEO optimization for local search engine visibility

• Ranking advantages over standard listings

• Extended company presentation (logo, images, services, links, keywords)

• Prioritization within the SFINDEX company index network

A specific ranking position cannot be guaranteed; however, a significant visibility advantage over standard listings is assured.

5. Account Management

Users may register an account to access certain platform features. They are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential. SFINDEX reserves the right to block or delete accounts in the event of violations of these Terms.

6. Availability & Changes

SFINDEX strives to ensure continuous platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Parts of the platform may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Premium customers will be informed at least 14 days in advance. If no objection is raised, the updated Terms shall be deemed accepted.

7. Termination & Suspension

SFINDEX may delete accounts or listings without prior notice, in particular in cases of:

• Violations of these Terms

• Fraudulent or illegal conduct

• Repeated complaints or abusive behavior

Users may request deletion of their account at any time by contacting SFINDEX.

8. Prices, Contract Term & Renewal

Prices depend on the selected listing package.
Premium listings are subscription-based services.
The contract term is 12 months unless otherwise agreed.
The listing renews automatically for a further 12 months unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days before expiration.

9. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within 14 days net.
In case of late payment, SFINDEX is entitled to:

• Deactivate or deprioritize the listing

• Charge reminder fees

• Apply default interest of 5% per annum

10. Data, Ownership & Usage Rights

All data provided by the customer are stored by SFINDEX and used for operating the company directory.
The company grants SFINDEX a non-exclusive, worldwide right to publish and index the content within the platform.
Ownership of the data remains with the company.
SFINDEX may use company data for B2B directory purposes, indexing, and presentation, but not sell them unless an explicit data license or trading agreement has been concluded.

11. Data Protection & International Data Storage

SFINDEX processes data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including:

• Swiss FADP

• EU GDPR (where applicable due to international visibility)

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the platform, users consent to such processing.

12. Platform Disclaimer

SFINDEX does not guarantee:

• Business success, leads, revenue, or conversion results

• Absolute platform accuracy

• Content provided by customers or third parties

• Direct or indirect damages arising from platform use

• Accuracy or reliability of company information or reviews

• Actions or services of listed companies

Liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

13. Customer & Third-Party Content

Companies are solely responsible for the content of their profiles.
SFINDEX may remove content or suspend listings if:

• These Terms, legal provisions, or ethical standards are violated

• Complaints from authorities or rights holders are received

• Abuse is detected

14. External Links

Links provided by companies are outside the responsibility of SFINDEX. Reviews may be carried out on a random basis, without guarantee.

15. Abuse, Bots & Automated Use

Automated access must not impair the platform. Abuse will result in account or listing suspension.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
